over the past week or two, i have spent a lot of time thinking about a new job, a drivers license, and a car. All of those things need to happen at the same time, since i cant really have a job without a car (unless if i work in walking distance from home, which isn't happening), i can't have a car without a job, and i can't have a license without a job either, since i'd have to pay for insurance when i get my license. so all of those things are happening very soon, and it's a little bit mind-blowing to imagine how i'll manage to juggle all of those things along with school in such a short time. its a good thing i have a family who help me out a bunch.
but since i've been doing all this, i haven't really been giving much thought to my Graham schoolwork, such as this journaling, and the presentation i'll be giving on graduation day. i've been doing some work trying to get the pictures from my third quarter walkabout, but so far have been unsuccessful. i hope to get a better sense of direction for myself from seminar on Wednesday. I know i'll have enough to talk about in my presentation, but i just don't know where to start...... -_-

pst-- Seminar's thursday. c: heh
And I know how you feel. I need to get all of the above, but it's hard. There isn't really anyplace around my house to work... I don't know. It's just a pain. XP
I hope that, other than that, you're doing good.
I tried doing what you're attempting earlier this school year and it didn't work out for me. I live downtown so I'm told it's a little easier getting to a job (with buses and such) but depending on my hours I don't want to be standing at a bus stop downtown waiting for a transfer for twenty minutes after dark (I've encountered some pretty creepy people walking downtown). So I'm putting off the whole job, drivers license, car thing until the summer. Think of it this way although not having a car is huge inconvenience it gives you an excuse for coming home late (you tried to get home by curfew but your ride didn't want to leave the party until...whenever).
That's my excuse at least. Where do you work now? Are you guys practicing symposiums on Thursday? I'm afraid my symposium will be really boring. There's only so much you can talk about French and English classes at
Columbus State. Maybe if I presented what I learned in French class in French. That might come off as snobby. What did you do for your third quarter walkabout? I know you went to DC (or at least I think you did) but what did you do there?
